Having more than one side to every "story" does not guaruntee that all sides are true.

So? Having differing interpretations does not mean differing truths exist. I can have one belief, you can have another, and if the truths are mutually exclusive, then only one of those beliefs can be true.

"My own truth is exactly how my physical world works."

Negative. Many people believe silly things such as they can defy gravity - and find out the hard way that the physical world coldn't care less about "their truth."

"Yours may work diferrently."

Negative. If this were true, we would be finding conflicts between what we read in Physics books and what we observe all the time, because the physics books would be revealing only one person's truth.

"But I still have a right to read all conflicting viewpoints and make my own decision."

Indeed you do. But you can't launch yourself into space simply by changing your beliefs. Go ahead, try it. I'll be laughing when you fail.
