osreinstall: Ah! Okay ... better ...
Yup, yup, that's because Debian and FreeBSD are AVOCATIONS, not VOCATIONS. For creative folks, starving while doing something you really love trumps making a bunch of bucks doing something you HATE. Think of all the great artists who were destitute unless they located a rich patron.

Ya know, I TRY to be more centrist, but the Righties seem to have infected a lot of people with this "yer either with us or agin us" of Dubya. So the second I try to pull my right foot out of the discussion and take a step with my LEFT foot towards the center, they start screamin' "Yer a Leftist, OhBee! Ya must be a COMMUNIST!" It's gotten so comical that I've just resorted to taking on the mantle of a Heathen Liberal and pulling as many chains as I can.

Oh yeah, I am a BIG fan of copyrights, but good writers write for the same reason that artists paint, so my answer in the first paragraph, here, is my feeling on this ... much more important than a profit motive.

True enough about verifying content by going to multiple resources; 'course I do that for all the WRITTEN material I use, too, so as far as Wikipedia or Britannica go: sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Never singled out the Christians, osreinstall, I put Muslim zealots, Jewish zealots, Christian zealots, Republicon zealots, etc., all in the same (dirt) bag. And I knew that the Muslims were the ones who really finalized the destruction of Alexandria.

I think the reason it looks like I target the Christians is that they are in such an overriding majority where I work and live. Heck, I can't even toss up a single delicious pejorative without it landing on a Republicon Christian because there ain't any Jews, Muslims, etc., AROUND me!
