Time for a lesson in FSM

May his noodly appendage touch your soul.

I am not saying we should teach every possibility out there, just show that there are possibilities and sometimes where to look up information on them.

Greek Mythology really isn't taught much more in high schools, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have a resource for it. Some one some where feels that that information is important. Although mythology really has no basis to be in school other than to explain the naming of particular celestrial bodies.

Personally I think much time is wasted every year re-hashing the basics of each of these subjects all the way through school, and that much more knowledge could be obtained, but we still need to wait on those who can't pick up a basic concept if colour coordinated diagram of no more than 10 objects was created for them. Meanwhile, more advanced students such as myself are held back because of these weaker students. What compounds my situation is the fact that I was in a small school, so there really was no "advanced" classes for me go out on a limb and excel at.

Wikibooks are a great tool, and if they allow students to expand their knowledge in ways that standard text books can't provide, I wish for all students to excel at them.
