While I don't have Jeff's voracity..
I do have to agree that Bill Gates did not "dream up" anything but a good business plan.

I am a geek, and I like to dream up things. Some I have even built. But with $50B I think I could still find time to invent while not working. Maybe my thoughts are different because I have children and would love to be able to spend all summer with them goofing around. Maybe that is it, Microsoft is his baby and he doesn't want to let it go.
