That's going to depend on the age
of the minor, where the computer was located (in the home, at a friend's house, etc.), and other particulars. You're right, I should have qualified that. But parents are often held responsible for their minor children's actions. Years ago, when they first instituted a curfew in my home town, the police would bring minor violators home and write the parents a ticket.
