Keep Dreaming Donnieboy!: Google is not a mature enough company to take on MS or IBM. I am sure MS already owns Google stock. MS already has a track record of durability and staying power no matter what you think of their tactics. This anti-MS obsession of yours is just wishful thinking on your part. Google is in it for the money. I also believe they are more ethically challenged than MS by far.

A little tip from experience:
Never trust an entity that professes to do good as its mission statement. It is a distraction from their real intentions.
