Opera's tab implementation
Opera's tab implementation *is* different from FF's. In Preferences > General, you can choose to open pages in new tabs and to show close buttons on each tab. This is quite similar to Firefox's system. But you get the full power of MDI if you disable "Show close buttons on each tab". This will let you tile, cascade, rearrange and resize tabs within Opera's main window.
