Mr. Cerf is no innovator...
My rep and I were going over the great innovators of the 20th and 21st centuries. Of course, we have Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates at the top and threw some kudos to other famous Microsoft founders like Paul Allen. But the clamor of Vint Cerf working for Google makes me ill. Google is just hype and Mr. Cerf needs to realize he is making a huge mistake here. If he wants to work for someone with clout and the ability to change the world, he should have gone to Redmond. At the breakfast buffet here at PDC, my rep and I stared in astonishment at all of the people piling food on their plates here in anticipation of an entire day of speeches from Microsoft management. It is just a sit for sore eyes. Microsoft brings together thousands of people who hinge on every word uttered. I chose 2 of my MCSD's to accompany me here and told them they will be quizzed each night.
