Gee, 'cause he is Vint Cerf.: No other reason; just to bring in the "aura of radical technological innovation". I do not doubt though, that he could still be highly creative and contribute some interesting distribute processing ideas.

Vint teach them how to combine datagram routing and massive searching over optimal paths.
