These guys have made huge contributions.
Miguel de Icaza, Michael Tiemann, Alan Cox. Linus Torvalds, Andrew Tridgel, are some of the greatest. There are too many to mention. There are also a lot of smart people working at Microsoft, but the numbers are decreasing. Try naming just one of the best and brightest working at MS. Steve Balmer?? Bill Gates??
