Let's hope this is an indication that Google will stay with open standards.
Vint Cerf will remain true to his roots. If Google trys to do something non-standard, he will be gone in an instant. But, we all need to watch Google so they don't become the next Microsoft and start with the dirty tricks.

That said, Go Google!!!!!!! Isolate Microsoft with open standards and interoperability. And, while we are at it, the chat portion of Google talk works great on Linux with Gaim, but, no voice. How about making voice work on Linux, and also try to release the Linux versions at the same time as Windows versions.
