Ok I'll paraphrase ....
Perhaps if I paraphrase my original post it won't get censored ... the only clear winner to come out of this debacle will be China. The Chinese government are commited to Linux (an OS they can vet for backdoors and tweak as they please) as opposed to an expensive, proprietary virus distributor with NSA back doors (allegedly) embedded in it.

Gate's promise to the Chinese govt that Microsoft will outsource $100 million of work to Chinese workers EVERY YEAR, if not kept, will have serious repurcussions for Microsoft's future bargaining position there. And if that promise *is* kept, it will have repurcussions for Microsoft's position with the American workforce. Microsoft, Google and Yahoo are stooping to new lows in their eager scrabble for a slice of the Chinese market. Do they not realise that the PRC will not allow the money they are dreaming about, to leave the country? All the Chinese govt has had to do is throw the big dogs a few scraps and now they're publicly fighting each other. I would suggest a reading of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" for Western corps who think they have got what it takes to take on the far east at trade. Not that reading it would make much difference, when comprehension is patently so low.
