depends on what they are loosing
I agree that the Googlers want to show "Hey...look... Microsoft is just outsourcing jobs to China. Our guy didn't want that for the good old US or the crap jobs they were sending the Chinese. Google loves people at both ends of the evil Microsoft plan and don't want to see them hurt. Microsoft must be stopped." That makes a lot of journalist start listening and spinning. What would you do? It's a low blow, but WORKS (an is possibly true). Telling the court to stay on focused is not the point.

If outsourcing cost you your job (there is a crowd now), Microsoft is looking ugly from the Google words. There are comments about Microsoft employees leaving...hmm... I would say outsourced is more like it. Microsoft's internal moral has much to loose by looking like a major outsourcer. It doesn't matter if it is true or not. It never has. Lou Dobbs will have them up the flag pole by weekend. If you see one guy walked out of your office (again..it doesn't matter that he never worked a day in the last ten years and needed to be fired) and then read the Google words, you're sure your next. At that point the Microsoft admins are being told to block monster.com. I'm sure http://www.google.com/intl/en/jobs/index.html has a great posting just for you. Again.. it doesn't matter if Microsoft is a evil thing or not. It's an ugly picture of them.

Either way it goes... Google is winning while this is in the press.

For Microsoft this is simply holding on to hot embers they plan to throw at Google. First, while holding the embers..they get burned. Second, Google is far enough away to duck the throw. Wise up Microsoft.. let it go before this really hurts you.
