- Why are you expending so much emotion on this?
- How many times have you trumpeted Microsoft's unassailability? If, as you contend, Linux is unable to make headway on the desktop sans license fee, why would a profit-minded corporation even make an attempt, when the only possible outcome would be a lowering of price/profit? Wouldn't it be better, for youre purposes, to let Google blunt its sword and needlessly expend resources?
