Judging from your response...: you missed my point. First I don?t want to give any false impressions about myself. I?ve served on active duty and now a reserve component. I was recalled when we ousted the Taliban.

You seem to point fingers toward those who are not as conservative as you. In your Fodder for the liberal media post, for example, you reference Tammy Bruce and how ?liberal values? are damaging our nation. Never heard of her but my first impression from her web site is that, she?s a little less conservative than Ann Coulter. But regardless, the banter is the same, what?s American and what?s not. I think the term I hear all the time is ?Un-American? vs. Real American. You seem to fall in that crowd, judging by all your post, and not just with this article.

My question about Mogadishu is why are you making that comparison? They (The Somalis) weren?t hit by a hurricane or tsunami. That city was run by warlords. Their soldiers were organized, running around rpg launchers and heavy machineguns. There even may have been an Al Qaida link. I don?t know but don?t see any warlords in N.O. I didn?t hear about any organization among these groups of hoodlums. Where?s Al Qaida? I fail to see the link other than one obvious one. And, I don?t know if there were roving mobs pillaging after the tsunami, or even if there would have been. However, it seems to me that nothing was left to pillage anyway.

As far as me feeding off of the khaki *** for the past 20 years? You?re not qualified to make such a statement. You missed my analogy. I never said I waded sewage to help someone. And I?ve not charged up a hill firing my weapon dry. What I was trying to say is that if someone needed help, I wouldn?t make presumptions of how they got into their predicament. I wouldn?t complain about or blame people for where they tend to live. It?s almost like you?re saying only live where you can afford to evacuate or don?t live there at all. Perhaps you think there should be a law, but perhaps I?m going through another process of ?eisegesis?. My point was and is, be it by orders or not, military or not, I would feel it was my duty as a citizen of this country to help out fellow citizens in a crisis. But, I?m glad to see that you don?t think being in the military makes you more of a citizen. Folks I?ve talked with who have similar views as you, tend to think that military service gives you an edge up. I don?t serve for the pay, to play with guns or to walk around in khaki and a coffee cup. I do it for internal pride, for service to this great nation of ours and it is my personal way in which to give back to this country.

You?re criticism about me being bigoted and judgmental is kind of humorous. That?s what I thought I was saying about you. Am I being just like you? I will have to analyze that. I defined REAL AMERICANS from what I?ve interpreted from your post? through a process of "eisegesis", no doubt. JTB? You mean a jump trace buffer? That?s cute. That filk almost hurts my feelings. But you seem like an ADT. Or perhaps you?re just applying the infinite monkey theorem to your tripe. (There. Got the tech stuff in to take care of any ZDNet requirements.) Keep trying; eventually you?ll get it right. Nothing wrong with a little recursive learning.

I am paid to support the citizens of this country, not the president?s honor or straightforwardness. I serve my country with honor, I honor my marriage, I honor God? I think I?ve done some honorable things so far in my life. By the way I don?t look down on those who don?t follow my faith. Let?s make that clear.

As far as working for McD?s and if that is dishonorable? The job doesn?t make the person. Never has and never will. I guess I do judge people. But I judge them by their actions. Words are cheap and plentiful. And someone with as much hubris (Greek for exaggerated pride or self-confidence) as you, seem to use words and apply them to your revisionism quite well.
