I am not waiting for resolution to communication

I was watching news for the last 3 days on all the major cable netwokrs said over and over:


There are thousands without power, no food, no freash water. All the phone lines are down. No one inside this disaster can call for help. Many police and rescue workers that stayed to help get people out are having a hard time with communication in some areas.


I thought about this and pulled out The Gimp (a Drawing program) and started drawing out what I was coming up with in my mind. Though I am green to this program, I did my best to draw it out, so I wouldn't forget.

*A Pole, 10 FT tall with 4 inner tubes attached to 4 extended arm bars.
*Attached to 4 pulleys (2 per arm) that attach through the center pole,
which is ran through the center pole/ up to a large enough loop that it can be
attached to a helicopter's pulley system used in rescue.
*On the main pole, a wireless relay router, a VOIP box, 1 durable telephone, 1 pull out reel of RJ45 cable (About 10 FT), and a solar powered generator, and 1 solar cell.
*At the top, one WIFI booster to cover a mile (Or more) and a CB antenna to carry the signal.
*A Beaconed light to draw people?s attention
*Every few miles these are dropped in a pattern, which creates a daisy-chained "hotspot"
to help emergency workers create immediate phone stations for victims to get a hold of help, while also creating a fast work station for emergency agencies to network immediately with operations outside of the disaster area.

I'll post the image of this soon, but this is such a immediate idea, but is so easy to get rolling on this NOW!

I taken some of my own funds to start this website from my own business since I want to help. I don't have much time to plan. Going to buy parts for this tomorrow. Being a business owner who loves helping out, to me this is a NOW project
