There are times when it is quite a disadvantage to have a static 2-dimensional image that you cannot interact with.

And yes- I believe that someday paper books will no longer be used. Small tablets with a display and the capacity to hold the contents of 1,000 books will eventually prevail.
Just because it is in computer/electronic format does NOT mean reading will no longer be employed.
