Outlook has not had any downtime (exchange[1] would be the application to be "down" since Outlook is only a client) since about 2000.

Really, Tic, I expect better from you as you are always chiding people to get the facts straight before they post.

I suggest you follow your own advice.

[1] Exchange has not been hit by any exploits since 5.5, a REALLY ancient, but still popular server product. Look up the recent exploits (successful) against Exchange 2k or 2k3. Not many, eh? How does SendMail stack up?
