E911 Deadline
Not only are VoIP being cut off, but if you have "On Star" in your vehicle as of January 2006, if your vehicle is under 2003 model then your "On Star" system will no longer work nor will you be able to up grade your present "On Star" system to be able to meet the FCC requirements for E911. As a retired police I strongly believe in the E911 system, but I have problems with the way people are being forced to disconnect because of an FCC ruling.
The FCC's attitude is "oh, well."
