AOL agrees to customer service reform

aol cancel policy

I canceled my AOL service 2 days ago.It took me over an hour to do that.I got pushed around from one representative to the next in their call center in India.For a while I felt like I was held hostage.I didn`t know what to do anymore.I got always the same answer "i`m so sorry but i can`t help you,call this nummber..." which was the same nummber I just called.I finally got lucky after more then an hour calling that one of their representatives agreed to connect me direct to the "DSL-department".Their finally a US-representative picked up and could cancel my service!!
It was by far the worst customer service I ever
had.
I never in my life would sign up with AOl ever again and I hope I can encourage other poeple
to do the same.
Good luck if you still have Aol and want to cancel it.
The best of all is that my new ISP provider is about a third of the cost of AOL and is almost the double speed of AOL!!!!!!
