And where is Ferrari???
It doesn't seem that Microsoft is trying to enter the online translation field? Have you heard of them wanting to do language translations? The same question can be asked about why AMD is making faster processors than Ferrari. It's because Ferrair makes cars, not processors. MS doesn't make language translators. Just because they make an OS and other software doesn't mean they make everything. I would like to ask you, Where is RedHat (you seem to obviously support Linux) or any other Linux developers in the language translation race? I think the answer is the same as for MS. They aren't losing the race because they aren't in it. As for Windows users being idiots, where do you come up with this stuff. Since when does choice (or lack) of one's OS determine a person's cognitive capacity? It sounds like you buy too much into the pretentious nature that certain non-MS users like to go by. Yes there are great alternatives to Windows, but that doesn't make you any better as a person for using them. Get over it.
