Where are you located. I am sure that if you are in a well developed area there are van-pools, car-pools or even mass transit available to you. Sure having to deal with the masses is a hassle, but having to feed a gas hungry vehicle and deal with traffic AND then the whole parking issue... hmmm...

30 gallon tank
fill up 2-3 times a week

So my guess is you are pumping about 25 gallons of fuel into the beast. So at say $2.85 a gallon you are spending (rough numbers now...)

$71.25 per fill-up and you do it 2-3 times a week... so that is:

$142.50 - 213.75 a week... now that comes up to a monthly fuel bill of:

$570.00 - 855.00 a month!! Good grief!!! Why do you continue to drive a vehicle that is costing you that much just to drive, and that is not including the tires, brakes, and sundry other maintenance costs.

My average fuel bill now per month for 2 cars, 1 truck and 4 motorcycles is just around $200.00.

Anyhow for the low price of $50-75.00 a month you can commute via Van Pool, Car Pool or various mass transit systems. If you do not have a mass transit system you may want to get on your local reps and make that happen.

Essentially you are throwing good money away, and for what?
