RE: Rising gas prices fuel e-tailer anxieties
I don't know about you guy's and gals, but I have been writing my congressman, senator and various other representitives and letting them know that I want a larger push for funding of alternative energy research and implementation. I am but one man... and I am at least trying to be proactive.

Since the kids, school is only 3 miles away, they ride their bike. Since I am now own my own business, I can work out of my home. If I need to see a client, and they are within 15 miles and time is not critical, I can ride my bike, if time is critical then I fire up the BMW GS 1100 and go.

I have parked the truck, the vette. The wife drives the Mazda or her BMW GS 650. We all walk to the store or ride out bikes. Bottom line is we are doing out little bit to help. That and it's amazing how much you save when you reduce the amount of needless travel!
