And the evidence?
Yo usited one disputed case on trademark.

You sited one case study on copyright which is still being disputed and no evidence of infringement mentioned.

You mentioned two products that do not violate anyones privacy.

Where is your evidence that they are the biggest (or even one of the biggest) violators of these things?

Yes I do read tech sites. I also hit the links in the articles and read those, get the background details, read all the posts (well, most of them) and compare experiences. What's your point? Never met a man who does his homework?

How do these comments grab you?
[*] "If Google is storing my personal information, then...."
[*] "I can't beleive that a company who says, 'do no evil,' would actually do...."
[*] "Do you know their TOS state that they can change the terms at any time...."

Tell me something that is factual that I don't know. Yes, the last quote is factual but name one TOS that doesn't say that.

Don't listen to hype. Do your research. Read the links (that what they are there for) and listen to what everyone has to say, "...even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story." {from The Desiderata by Max Ehrmann.}
