Satisfy customers, make money

They forgot to point out that MS makes money hand over fist on Windows, but: they spend more money trying to maintain the lock-in thatn giving the customers what they want. Customers want a modular OS so they can mix and match as desired. They want browsers that are compatible. They want security first and features second.
