Um, then WHY go there?
The mystery of going to new places and seeing new things now is reduced to going to new places. Why go to Egypt to see the pyramids, when you can see them in many different places and you don't have to vacation in a land with strange food . . .

An extreme example I admit, but I'm trying to make a point here. Why did man go to the moon? Why did the chicken cross the road? No need for that anymore, just go to Amazon . . .
