A healthy skepticism...
...is good. It leads us to question new concepts as well as the orthodoxy - and the status quo needs constant scrutiny. But skepticism shouldn't cross the line into automatic distrust. It's one thing to question what we're told, quite another to automatically assume sinister motives behind everyone who disagrees with us.
