Uh.. did you actually read the article?
They're talking about "windows" as in periods of opportunities or periods of time, not "Windows" the operating system.

DRM in MacOS or Windows has nothing to do with this... in fact, it might make it easier to move the release of new movies closer to the same time as the theatrical releases.
