Major Problems with this...
As I college student myself, I see major problems with this.

1) It still costs to much. I can get used books for between 50% - 33% off.
2) Even if I buy a new book, I can sell it to some under classman for half and save more than this does for me.
3) Adobe's format is not readily annotated (with searchable ink, like on a table PC).
4) Expires after 150 days!?! There are some course combos that use the same book for multiple semesters.
5) If I decide not to sell my used book, which I got for 50% off, I can keep it and refer to it again and again. I can give it to my to-be kids, if I want.
6) Only usable on one computer: I know lots of people who have both a desktop AND a laptop AND a PDA. Why can't they read the e-book on all of them?
7) Cannot print it. With a real book, I can make a photocopy of a page and do with it what I want (write on it, share it, etc.)

The only benefits I can see is reduced weight and searchabality. However, hardly anyone actually carries the book to and from class. Usually, it lives in the room. And, most text books have good indices, so searchabality is not such a change, after all.
