Never, ever, ever
Never take a class where the instructor wrote the text book.

Just try even a minor disagreement with any of the points in the text. Most of the time, if you're lucky, you'll only be treated like you ran over their dog.

(I learned this the hard way in a philosophy class that was a required course.)
