This is a ripoff!
For 33% less, you can rent an electronic copy of a book and go blind trying to read it! Also, you can't share it with fellow students unless you hack it, violating the DMCA. This is yet another example of greedy bloodsuckers trying to make everything under the sun pay-per-use. They would charge us for the air we breathe if they could get away with it.

In the pre-DMCA era, copying part of a book, and giving it to a student was clearly fair use because it was for educational purposes. Now, maybe not. Here is a story about the slippery slope this is leading us down.
