Are these idiots *serious*?

My thirty-five-year-old copies of "The Feynman Lectures" are still eminently readable. They expect people to buy books with expiration dates? [Cue long, loud, disbelieving laughter.]

Would you buy a book some market-droid idiot could lock you out of? The ONLY thing this will do is encourage a LOT of very bright people to find hacks for their "copy protection," and there will be LOT more people trying to crack it than protect it. So the good news is the publishers will be *seriously* outnumbered by the people they will have made their enemies instead of loyal customers.
