I find reading the low resolution of a screen very tiring when reading for long periods.

I could imagine reading short articles on the screen but reading a novel on a long train journey would be too much strain for the eyes.

If we can get cheap devices with very good screen resolution then it might work, until then paper and ink is much more comfortable.
