Digital ink is better
I prefer to read books on my PDA. It can hold tens or hundreds of book and it's smaller than any single book and lighter than all but the thinnest paperbacks. I can search back to reread a passage I missed. I can add as many bookmarks as I want without ruining it.

My favorite feature is that I can read in the dark, though I do have to turn the brightness down to avoid waking my wife. happy

I currently use a Dell Axim X3. The screen could be more like paper, but I don't have a problem with it at all. I'm sure the newer models are even better and I'll be upgrading soon.

I only buy paper books now when I know they won't be available as ebooks, at least for a while. My biggest gripe is that ebooks are often as expensive as paper.
