Why all the hate on AOL?
You guys are all forgetting AOLs primary audience, housewives, grandparents, significant others, newbies and kids. If your computer literate then AOL isnt for you, why are you using it? Aol is hit with spam and phishing because like IE its one of the most used utilities on the 'net, any idiot knows whatever the most popular utility is its gauranteed to have more problems because hackers are drawn to it. AOL isnt all bad, for old people they can hop on and cruise around inside an enclosed enviorment, got a girlfriend/boyfriend, granma, or kids that dont know jack about security, stick them in AOL and let them browse enclosed. Then teach them about security before sending them into the wild. Not only that their are filters on AOL so you control whats going on. Its a parents dream.

Roadrunner doesnt work everywhere, just like AOL doesnt work everywhere they overlap and give TW more coverage and increased dividends. Each product is different thats hy their not all compatible. When MS tried combining everything everyone was yelling monopoly because all their products integrated together. At least TW learned that much. Really, you cant make anyone happy, so I think they should just do what they want. I've got DSL and I have AOL for backup, it serves its purpose and I have filters that screen out all my spam, it works fine with Incredimail, so I dont get all the freaking whining, I mean really, have any of you designed your own portal and done any better? If so, send us a link so we can try it out.
