If this is not a glaring example of hypocricy...
No. Actually you post is a glaring example of someone that has no concept of what free speech is.

Free speech is not speech, or expression, that you, with all your prejudices, biases and misconceptions, agree with. Not everyone is going to agree. Nor is everyone going to agree with you what offensive means.

It is not for you or any other group to define what free speech is. So long as people don't infringe on other's right or incite others to commit criminal acts it is not up to you to decide what free speech is.

What you condone is a very slippery slope. Sooner or later some religious group, bigger than your religious group will decide your religion is offensive and have it banned. I can honestly say I would applaud all religion being banned since they are the worst human rights offenders in history but that is another discussion.

Whether you like it or not others have the same rights as you. You cannot take their rights without losing yours. Free speech applies to all, not just you. The First Amendment protects everyone against government intrusion into their lives, not just those that meet your twisted ideas of moral and ethical behavior. The Fourteenth Amendment protects all of us from people like you using their public office to attempt to eliminate 'undesirable' free speech by passing bogus laws aimed at certain groups.

How about this for a novel concept. You don't want your kids going to porn sites then do your job as a parent and supervise them.

I will never cease to be amazed, and disgusted, by the number of people that want their entire lives dictated by some government agency. What is up with that? Are you totally incapable of accepting responsibility for yourself? Stop whining for some government agency to take responsibility for you.

Be careful what you wish for because you just may get it.

I don't care for pornography but I do care for Our Constitution. It is what defines us as a nation. Protecting and defending The Constitution is a much more important issue than a few psychotic religious zealots whining about pornography. That is the ultimate hypocrisy. If it weren't for pornographic acts none of these psycho-religious nuts would be here. Really, how many of these religious whack-jobs were born out of a bottle of Jack Daniels on Saturday night with their mommas contorted like a pretzel? Your momma did it, my momma did it and everyone else's mommas did it so stop pretending you were conceived in a moment of divine intervention and leave other people alone.
