Must deny this patent
At the end of the day, Google is trying to patent the insertion of
XML or HTML into a feed. This is outrageous since the feed
itself is XML!!!!

They are trying to close an open standard.

The Patent office has to be very careful about granting patents
that simply combine something everybody has been doing with
something new that has been created that is designed to
incorporate what everybody else is doing.

This is no different than claiming a patent on putting classified
ads, auctions listings, search results or news in RSS. Forget it
google.
