And Flash will still be Lousy.... (and not allowed on any of our PCs)..
Along with many others I know, my chief complaint with Flash Player is the total lack of end user control. For the most part, one can't use the web with Flash installed in that it results in far too many incredibly annoying and distracting animations. We have one unused computer in the event that we just "have" to see some Flash content.

Until Macromedia allows the end-user to control their own computer, Flash will be absent from a lot of systems. What is so hard about an on/off switch in their software?? You can't shut Flash off. Ridiculous. There may be some utility software out there that allows this, but that means I need yet another piece of software to control another insufficient application.

Macromedia needs to get their act together. Until then, their content will never see our screens. It is likely they don't care, but then again, neither do I.

>>Macromedia's potential competitors say the software is too lightweight, failing to offer an array of features important to both media purveyors and consumers.<<
