RE: Congress calls for paperless health records
Paperless records can be provided. Access and security may be a target for abusers. With all the "money" in one "so called bank" it would provide temptation to would be abusers who could do a lot of damage with very little knowledge, including money damaging aspects. Insurance companies would be especially interested. I say hold your horses. We need more study. We don't need piece meal legislation. The Constitution would never have worked as well if it had been piece mealed. Just what do the people down at Joe's bar want, how about that sick father of a family of six. Then there is the guy running for senator, the prisoner, the illegal alien, foreign dignitaries, etc. What about Unions, private groups, etc. Who has a right to records?...maybe a groom needs to know about his bride before they get married, people suspected of transmittable diseases, etc. I just talked to an intelligent looking man on the street and he had no idea they were even considering such a thing. You gotta let somebody know or it is underhanded.
