Paperless medical records?
klmmicro, you are too jaded. There is no reason to suspect the government of evil purposes. The problem with most security issues is that most private companies are too cheap to follow security measures as established by industry standards. Those that follow the standard requirements seldmon have issues. The benefits of this far outweigh potential or perceived negative aspects. Doctors for once will have a opportunity to have a complete medical record on individuals that have moved a few times in their lives. And that should reduce duplicate medical tests. It will probably get rid of bad doctors since the records are more easily transportable and those that commit malpractice will more easily be found out...that too should reduce medical costs.

You should have a mort positive outlook...this is a good thing.
