Tread carefully on some extensions.
Loverock, some of those extensions are flakey. Just because they are there for the download, doesn't make them safe. Like Grease Monkey. Stick with extensions that have been around for sometime that also get updates. The best theme I like is GrayModern.

Extensions which work for me:

Adlock
Dictionary Search
fireFTP
HTML Validator
IE View
Image Zoom
Reload Every
Show IP
Tweak Network
User Agent Switcher

I have more extensions but they are being checked out. The ones I mentioned are very solid. When you uninstall Firefox, delete the profile directory also. That is where most extensions go. Good luck on them.
