Math = Fuzzy Logic
Actually it would be 75 mil / 7 = 10.714 mil users total using your logic. You forgot to include the 0 in your count.

There are newbies that are still on earlier releases and they are not as experianced with security, but was told it was more secure. A lot of them are friends or relatives of techs that haven't gotten around to upgrading them. Also customers of techs who haven't seen problems are saying why upgrade, it's OK. Some went back to explorer because they miss it for their proprietory features. I downloaded it, even in the decimal stage, but prefer the Mozilla suite because it is more refined in its features. It also has extensions installed on it too. Also some people would skip versions because they are not in a hurry.

Conclusion: Too many unknowns to make an educated guess. Must use counters on websites along with the versions. You can also have ISPs to contribute by knowing your e-mailer in the header, anonymously of course.
