Sorry, but your calculations are a ilttle low.
"doesn't count Mozilla's automatic updates or copies from single downloads"

As noted in the quote above, automatic updates are not included in the number, and neither are the near 150 installs I've done from one copy on my USB key (and I'm sure I'm not the only one smart enough to realize that you dont' have to download it everytime you want to install it on a network).

Also, who's to say that every user has updated to every version (I don't upgrade, unless there is a good reason to do so), or that every user started at version 1.0 (I may be wrong, but I think they started allowing downloads at version .9x).

Basically, there is no way without doing some SERIOUS analysis, and some WICKED mathematical calculations, and most of all, some OUTRAGEOUS guessing, to come up with an at least semi-accurate number of regular Firefox users (one of which is me).

However, having said that, and have done the above analysis, calculations, and MOST outrageous guessing, the number everyone is looking for is 36,756,212.76 (the .76 represents two cats, four goldfish, and a three legged dog).

N.B. This number is only accurate to within a 50% margin, except the three legged dog, he (at least it used to be a he) is definately a user.

As usual, just my opinion, take it or leave it.
