Your opinion, my opinion

I have exercised my ethics in the work place many times over the last 11 years by refusing to work for the military, in one case this meant quitting a job rather than sign the UK official secrets act. If I took the line that capitalism is all about profit I could go and work in a factory manufacturing torture equipment for sale to an oppressive regime and not feel a qualm. I don't care if you take exception to my views since my conscience is clear as far as my professional ethics are concerned, and, for your education, I have been self-employed since graduating 11 years ago, *I* sign my pay check because *I* only work for companies who's ethics are in line with my own. What were you saying about not being able to hack it?
