Microsoft, Google duke it out for China

Just responding in kind

Your own comments (not the articles you lift quotes from) only mention Microsoft (except for a single parenthetical aside mentioning Yahoo and Google, like this one). You yourself make it sound like only Microsoft is involved. Try these comments:

"American MSN users subject to the same restrictions on free speech which Microsoft have agreed to impose on the Chinese people would probably cause a riot. And where will Microsoft draw the line? Will Microsoft help the Chinese government to identify and track down dissidents?"

No mention of Yahoo or Google or Amazon there. How about:

"Microsoft apologists, don't even bother refuting my post - after all, if we were in China, and I was the government, and you disagreed with me ... well, you wouldn't be allowed to disagree via Talkback, Microsoft would see to that ... ahhh, American "freedom" and "democracy", who would have thought it could be spread by bombing Iraq and gaging Chinese civilians ..."

Hmm, no Google or Yahoo or Amazon there either. So it does indeed sound like someone is singling out Microsoft, but it's not the ones responding to you.
