What a mess
Hacking and hacking at something as fundamentally conceptually flawed as XML won't fix the problems.

Will these people never learn? As Santayana so rightly put it "Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes".

In the meantime I guess they can keep giving new acronyms to old technologies because XML enthusiasts don't realise they are not so much reinventing the wheel so much as reinventing the logs they used to move stones to build the pyramids. Work can be done this way but only with a great deal of pain, drudgery and slave labour.
