If it belongs to everyone, it belongs to no one. And development STOPS. Law of the Sea = legalizes murdering whales and other cetaceans, while stopping the development of any projects in International waters. International control of Space and Moon, they can't get there but they reserve the 'right' to seize product and profit from those that can. Now it is the 'Internet', another place they don't get, but want to control. Brazil complains about the XXX domain, while anyone running a porn site knows that the day they are restricted to .xxx will be followed by the day where router owners get arrested for not blocking .xxx sites. ICANN had a chance at democracy and blew it off to save their jobs. Now we will all pay for their shortsightedness.
