An international problem
Many responders sound very skeptical about the UN stepping in to regulate the internet. The UN has stepped forward to fill a void that needs filling. That is to be commended. It would be good to hear about other international organisations stepping forward but the UN seems to have the momentum. International cooperation is also needed for securing the internet. No one country can do it alone, not even the US with all its power and influence. Time to think globally and concentrate on what should be common to us all: being able to equally access and use a safe internet.
