Think of it this way
Think about downloading pdf files from a website. Some people
like to download the file, then view it in a program specifically
for that purpose (usually Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Preview on
the Mac). Most people apparently prefer to view the pdf file
directly in their web browser using a plug-in. This saves them
time and effort, just as having their BitTorrent files download
without opening a second program would do.

The joy of this, as would be the joy of having BitTorrent access
in Firefox, is that it's entirely voluntary. Don't want it? Don't
install it. No extra bloat for you, but it's there for those who
want it. There are tons and tons of Firefox extensions and
themes available, and it's the same thing--if you want that
functionality, you can add it, if not, stay lean.

For Firefox, it will be a plugin. It will be nice to have it integrated.  DonnieBoy | 07/07/05

A plugin could be simpler, and of course easier for an end user.  DonnieBoy | 07/07/05
