Apples and oranges
I consider a torrent to be a file I'm downloading, not integrated content on a page. Yes, it would be ridiculous for every flash display to open in a separate program. I don't see the point, however, of having my torrents show up in FF's download box, or a toolbar, etc. If the FF client can improve on BT (or any other client's) feature set, great, but I still think it should be a separate app. As Ramjet alluded to above, why not integrate Thunderbird, an IM client, a media player while we're at it? That's right, because then it would be Netscape...
